Why is the program 8 weeks and for about 6 minutes a day? How did you come up with those numbers?
The RelieVRx program was evaluated in an 8-week clinical trial with 188 participants. The clinical trial was designed using similar content to what is currently provided through RelieVRx, and at the end of the 8-week trial, significant pain reduction was seen by those who used RelieVRx compared to the non-immersive content
When should I start RelieVRx therapy?
You should start therapy on the day that is most convenient for you. Remember, we consider a week to be 7 consecutive days using the RelieVRx program, with day 1 being the day you decide to begin your treatment journey. So, if you start on a Tuesday, the following Tuesday would start week 2.
When should I use RelieVRx? Is there a specific time of day recommended?
You should pick a time of day that is most convenient and fits into your daily routines. This may make it easier to maintain your therapy (treatment) schedule.
What happens if I miss a day/session?
If you miss a VR session, please continue where you left off and complete 1 session per day.
Why am I asked to fill out assessments?
Surveys are used to track your progress through the RelieVRx journey. Your results can be shared with your Healthcare Provider at the end of the program.
Will skipping a session impact my treatment results?
If your healthcare provider or an AVR Pathway team member recommends you skip a session due to physical or mental discomfort, there is no evidence from our clinical studies showing that skipping a single session will reduce the overall treatment effect for the program. As long as you continue and complete the program, the program will be effective overall.
